It was standing room only at American Legion Post 297 in Marcellus, N.Y. as friends, family, and fans filled the hall to celebrate the release of the McCarthy-Paisley Band's new CD, "Hand Picked".  The album contains a mix of fine traditional music performed by some of Central New York's best musicians.  With songs by folks like Gillian Welch to Tony Trischka to several originals by co-founder of the group, Karl Paisley this is a CD that will please any lover of great acoustic music.

The CD features: Jacqui McCarthy, guitar, lead & harmony vocals; Karl Paisley, lead guitar, lead & harmony vocals;  Perry Cleaveland, mandolin & harmony vocals;  Jeremy Huber, 5-string banjo;  Henry Jankiewicz, Fiddle; and Don Anderson on stand-up bass.

This is another of those "must have" CDs by some great regional folks.  It's on sale now at Mountain Music.
