The Ryman Auditorium, "the mother church of country music", was the setting for the 2005 IBMA Awards Ceremonies.  A plaque commemorating the debut of Bluegrass Music that occurred sixty years ago on the stage at the Ryman was presented  on October 27th during the ceremonies.
